Risk Disclosure Statement

Last updated: May 31, 2026

This Risk Disclosure Statement ("Disclosure") applies to all users of Cain Finance and all interactions with liquidity pools, routing systems, swap interfaces, yield interfaces, and any other DeFi-related features available through Cain Finance (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using Cain Finance, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the risks described in this Disclosure. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.

1. Nature of the Platform

Cain Finance is a non-custodial software interface and liquidity aggregation layer that provides users with access to decentralized liquidity sources and blockchain-based protocols.

Cain Finance does not custody, hold, control, or manage user funds at any time. All transactions are executed by users directly through blockchain wallets and external decentralized protocols. Cain Finance acts solely as an interface and routing layer.

2. Routing and Third-Party Infrastructure

The Services may route transactions through third-party liquidity infrastructure, including decentralized liquidity routing systems on the Solana network. Third-party liquidity routing providers are responsible for execution, settlement, liquidity access, and on-chain transaction finality where applicable.

Cain Finance does not operate any underlying liquidity protocol and has no control over their performance, uptime, pricing, execution, or liquidity conditions.

3. No Control or Custody of Funds

Cain Finance does not at any point:

All assets remain under the sole control of the user's wallet and the underlying blockchain protocols. Once a transaction is submitted, it is executed independently by the relevant blockchain network and/or third-party liquidity systems.

4. Solana Liquidity Pool Risks

Users acknowledge that interaction with Solana-based liquidity pools and automated market maker (AMM) systems involves significant risk, including but not limited to:

Liquidity pool performance is inherently unpredictable and may result in partial or total loss of deposited assets.

5. Third-Party Execution Risk

Where routing is performed via any third-party liquidity provider:

All execution risk lies entirely with the user and the third-party liquidity infrastructure provider.

6. No Guarantee of Execution, Price, or Liquidity

Cain Finance does not guarantee execution at any specific price, availability of liquidity at any time, successful routing through any protocol, or stability of spreads or slippage conditions. Market conditions may change rapidly, and execution outcomes may differ significantly from displayed estimates.

7. Total Loss Risk

Users expressly acknowledge that:

You accept full responsibility for all losses incurred through use of the Services.

8. No Warranties or Guarantees

All Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of pricing or analytics, continuous availability of liquidity routes, successful execution of transactions, or security or integrity of third-party protocols.

9. Assumption of Risk

By using Cain Finance, you confirm that you understand the risks of decentralized finance systems, you are capable of independently evaluating financial risk, you accept that losses may occur without recourse, and you voluntarily choose to interact with blockchain-based liquidity systems.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cain Finance, its affiliates, developers, contributors, and partners shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from use of liquidity pools or AMM systems, routing through third-party protocols, smart contract failures or exploits, market volatility or liquidity changes, or transaction failures, delays, or reverts.

Cain Finance's total liability, if any, shall be limited to fees paid by the user to Cain Finance in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £0 if no fees were paid.

11. Independent Third-Party Relationships

Cain Finance is not affiliated with, owned by, or controlled by any third-party liquidity provider unless explicitly stated. All third-party protocols operate independently and are governed by their own terms and risks.

12. No Financial Advice

Nothing within Cain Finance constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. All users are solely responsible for their own decisions.

13. Updates and Changes

This Disclosure may be updated at any time without notice. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Disclosure.
